I'm an Author, entrepreneur and Workplace Leadership Enthusiast. I’m also a mom, a wife, former cabin crew and a Bachelor's Degree holder in Communications, Literature and Sociology.
My journey into leadership began a little over 15 years ago through a game of DARE, having applied for a job I did not qualify for on paper, then ended up getting promoted with barely 3 years of experience. Landing the job was the ‘easy’ part.
My world changed within days of taking up this position, something I was not mentally prepared for; losing friends (brutal for an extrovert), constant sabotage through lack of cooperation, misplaced jealousies, the emotional highs and lows…It felt like a rag was being pulled from right under my feet 🥵
This came with loneliness, overwhelm and constant anxiety over how to manage people who were more experienced than I. I felt the importance of having solid internal stability before counting on external support.
There had to be a way out, so I went into deep research to gather the missing elements that would give me comfort in authority.
I also made a personal vow that, when I found these elements, I would help as many women as I could to not only discover their leadership voice, but to flourish IN and OUT of office.
I have had to Upgrade my Soft Skills, Work on my Personality and Confidently redefine Leadership on my terms, a journey that has moved me from feeling Exhausted, Overwhelmed and Anxious to being Tangibly Impactful both at work and at home.
This is the very backbone of what I do. Today, I help women in/or aspiring to take up leadership positions, in High Pressure, Ultra competitive jobs, who have attached their value to performance, keeping them in debilitating anxiety over constant competition, go from feeling exhausted and overwhelmed, to redefining their value principle from their personality, Internalize and highlight their Soft Skills, so that they can MAGNETIZE and stay true to the leadership opportunities that they deserve, achieve their goals and FLOURISH both IN and OUT of office.
